One of the things that people really love about my show is the simple enthusiasm of the animals.  I had simply forgotten to put Lauren up a few times.  Well, not so simply.   By “forgotten” I mean that I could sense the need to keep the show moving along and didn’t want to chance a break in attention and so just left Lauren out.

I could hear Lauren babbling along behind me as I was going through the next story but once I started playing the accordion she started singing along loudly, doing true headbanging moves, and flapping her wings violently.  She was dancing!  And kids were totally telling me and their neighbors about it.

The result was caught by  a quick-witted librarian.

The instructor, Darren Peterson, has won many WCFO Dog Freestyle titles, Frisbee Dog titles, is a two-time Ironman, has taught high school math, traveled with the Royal Lichtenstein Circus, and performs weekly with Esther’s Follies.
